Setting up a WordPress home page
The home page is the front door of your website. By following the steps described in this guide, you can make any page you create yourself your home page.
1. Set your home page from the Settings page
- Go to Settings → Reading on the left sidebar, which is located on the site console.
- Next to the Home page displayed shortcut, select the Static page radio button.
- From the drop-down menu next to Home Page, select the new page as your site’s home page.
- Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
2. Setting up the home page in the configurator
- Go to Appearance → Customize.
- Select Home Page Settings.
- Select Static Page.
- From the drop-down menu under Homepage, select the new page as your site’s home page.
- Click Save Changes.
